The victory was a little payback for the previous night's 106-91 loss that mathematically eliminated them from this year's playoffs. Jeff McInnis once again returned to action and gave the Cavs a lift that has been void since their seven-game winning streak. McInnis scored 16 points and dished out eight assists. LeBron James scored 10 points and handed out 11 assists of his own. The intensity that was so prevalent during their winning streak was once again evident in last night's victory. The Cavs held a 22-21 lead after one quarter of play. McInnis had nine points in the quarter. Cleveland held Miami scoreless the first two and a half minutes of the second period and went on a 20-6 run and held a 42-27 lead with about five minutes to play. The Cavs took a 52-39 lead into the half. The second quarter epitimized the Cavs gameplay during their win streak with multiple players contributing. James scored four points and had four assists in the quarter while McInnis scored four points and dished out three assists, also. The Cavs carried their lead into the third quarter and hit a high of 22 points after a James jumper. While maintaining their lead, Coach Paul Silas was able to play his reserves and get a good a good look at some guys and seeing what their futures could hold in the offseason. Carlos Boozer added another double-double to his season's resume. He had 10 points and 14 rebounds. Tony Battie came off the bench to score 12 points and grab 10 rebounds. Dwayne Wade and Lamar Odom were the only Heat players to score in double figures. Wade scored 17 with Odom scoring 13 points. The Cavs hit on 44 percent of their shots while the Heat hitting on just 32 percent. Cleveland outrebounded Miami 51-44 and handed out more assists 29-13. The Cavs have two remaining home games with their next being Monday at home vs. Milwaukee and then finish up the season on Wednesday in New York. With one more win, the Cavs will double last season's output.
