The
Cavaliers are slated to appear on national television 31 times during the
82-game season. Cleveland will play nine games each on ESPN, TNT,
and NBATV. The Cavs will also make four appearances on ABC.
The national television appearances are a franchise record.
The 2004-05 season also includes the arrival of the
NBA's newest team - the Charlotte Bobcats. The addition of the
Bobcats brings in a new NBA divisional alignment. The Western and
Eastern Conferences will each consist of three five-team divisions.
Charlotte will enter the Eastern Conference and the New Orleans Hornets
